Madagascar vanilla is one of the most aromatic vanilla beans in the world and comes from one of the largest vanilla plantations with almost 30,000 hectares in Madagascar. Crown Maple's incomparably delicious maple syrup is produced at Madava Farms, a 300-acre site in the picturesque Hudson Valley, New York. After the end of the American Civil War, the land was no longer used for agriculture and a surprising number of maple trees grew on it. In 2007, former Crown Maple banker and founder Robb Turner purchased the site for resort use. When the neighbors told him about the over 20,000 maple trees, he spontaneously decided to start making maple syrup. The first batch was produced in 2011, and today Madava Farms maple syrup is considered possibly the highest quality in the world.

A special, patented technique is used to produce Crown Maple maple syrup: the reverse osmosis process. Here, around 80% of the water content is removed from the maple sap and impurities are filtered out. The color of the maple syrup depends on the time of harvest: the later the harvest, the darker the syrup will be after the maple sap has been boiled out.
