8) Online marketing
Within our online offer, the so-called "Facebook pixel" of the social network Facebook is used, which is operated by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Quare, Dublin 2, Ireland ("Facebook").
If a user clicks on an advertisement placed by us that is displayed on Facebook, an addition is added to the URL of our linked page by Facebook Pixel. If our site allows data to be shared with Facebook via pixels, this URL parameter is written to the user's browser via a cookie, which our linked site sets itself. This cookie is then read by Facebook Pixel and enables the data to be forwarded to Facebook.
With the help of the Facebook pixel, Facebook is able to determine the visitors of our online offer as a target group for the display of ads (so-called "Facebook ads"). Accordingly, we use the Facebook pixel to display the Facebook ads placed by us only to those Facebook users who have also shown an interest in our online offering or who have certain characteristics (e.g. interests in certain topics or products determined on the basis of the websites visited), which we transmit to Facebook (so-called "custom audiences"). With the help of the Facebook pixel, we also want to ensure that our Facebook ads correspond to the potential interest of users and are not annoying. This also allows us to evaluate the effectiveness of Facebook ads for statistical and market research purposes by tracking whether users were redirected to our website after clicking on a Facebook ad (so-called "conversion").
The data collected is anonymous for us, so it does not allow us to draw any conclusions about the identity of the user. However, the data is stored and processed by Facebook so that a connection to the respective user profile is possible and Facebook can use the data for its own advertising purposes in accordance with the Facebook Data Usage Policy (https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/). The data can enable Facebook and its partners to place advertisements on and outside of Facebook.
The data processing associated with the use of the Facebook pixel is only carried out with your express consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future by deactivating this service under the "Cookie settings" linked in the footer.
8.2 Google Ads conversion tracking
This website uses the online advertising program "Google Ads" and, as part of Google Ads, the conversion tracking of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland ("Google"). We use Google Ads to draw attention to our attractive offers on external websites with the help of advertising material (so-called Google Adwords). We can determine how successful the individual advertising measures are in relation to the advertising campaign data. Our aim is to show you advertising that is of interest to you, to make our website more interesting for you and to achieve a fair calculation of the advertising costs incurred.
The cookie for conversion tracking is set when a user clicks on an ad placed by Google. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your end device. These cookies generally lose their validity after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If the user visits certain pages of this website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and we can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page. Each Google Ads customer receives a different cookie. Cookies can therefore not be tracked via the websites of Google Ads customers. The information collected using the conversion cookie is used to generate conversion statistics for Google Ads customers who have opted for conversion tracking. Customers are told the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information that can be used to personally identify users. As part of the use of Google Ads, personal data may also be transmitted to the servers of Google LLC. in the USA.
Details on the processing triggered by Google Ads Conversion Tracking and how Google handles data from websites can be found here: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites

You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future by deactivating this service under the "Cookie settings" linked in the footer.

The data you enter for the purpose of receiving the newsletter (e.g. e-mail address) is stored on SendinBlue's servers.
Our newsletters sent with SendinBlue enable us to analyze the behavior of newsletter recipients. Among other things, we can analyze how many recipients have opened the newsletter message and how often which link in the newsletter was clicked on. All links in the email are so-called tracking links that can be used to count your clicks.
If you do not wish to be analyzed by SendinBlue, you must unsubscribe from the newsletter. We provide a link for this purpose in every newsletter message. You can also revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future by sending an email to the address provided in this declaration (see above).
The data you provide us with for the purpose of subscribing to the newsletter will be stored by us until you unsubscribe from the newsletter and will be deleted from both our servers and the SendinBlue servers after you unsubscribe from the newsletter. Data stored by us for other purposes (e.g. email addresses for competition entries) remain unaffected by this.
You can find more details in SendinBlue's privacy policy at: de.sendinblue.com/legal/privacypolicy/.

The information generated about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. IP anonymization is activated on this website. As a result, your IP address will be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there.
The use of cookies or comparable technologies takes place with your consent on the basis of § 15 para. 3 sentence 1 TMG i.V.m. Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. The extended data protection mode is used here, which, according to the provider, only initiates the storage of user information when the video(s) is/are played. All processing described above, in particular the reading of information on the end device used via the tracking pixel, will only be carried out if you have given us your express consent to do so in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR.
