Stonewall Kitchen can look back on a storybook success story. The specialty food company was founded in 1991 by Jonathan King and Jim Stott, who initially offered homemade jams from a small stand at a farmers market. The two young entrepreneurs had to think of a name for their newly founded company in no time at all. One look out the kitchen window at the stone wall opposite was enough and the company name “Stonewall Kitchen” was born. The small market stall has now become a renowned company that has an excellent reputation both in the USA and internationally.
